May 31st 2017: End of project implementation, Final Study available online
The project implementation period has now been completed.
Many thanks from the project team to all stakeholders who contributed to the project.

March 23rd 2017: Final Seminar held in Brussels
The draft final report was presented to stakeholders for discussion at the project’s Final Seminar in Brussels. This event was attended by a wide variety of stakeholders from different civil society organisations involved in the prevention of discrimination at work, in addition to senior figures from the European Commission (EC) and the Republic of Korea’s Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL).
The seminar was opened by Ms Madelaine Tuininga, Head of Unit for Trade and Sustainable Development at the EC’s Directorate-General for Trade, and Mr Mino Jung, Director General of MOEL’s International Cooperation Bureau.
During the morning sessions, the expert team presented their findings.
In the afternoon, Cecile Balima, Head of Equality at the ILO, spoke via teleconferencing facilities, and a round-table discussion was held on the study, involving all participants.
The seminar was closed by Mr Rudi Delarue, Deputy Head of Unit for Labour Mobility and International Issues at the EC’s Directorate-General for Employment, Social Policy and Inclusion.

March 9th 2017: Draft Final Report published online
Following consultations with EU and Korean stakeholders, the Draft Final Report was published online, on the Resources page of this website.
Extension of the deadline for filling the stakeholders’ questionnaire

November 30th 2016: Stakeholder Workshop held in Seoul
The Project Team held a Stakeholder Workshop in late November in Seoul, to elicit feedback on the draft Interim Report and seek input into the Final Study. The Workshop was attended by senior figures from the ILO, the European Commission and the Ministry of Employment and Labor of the Republic of Korea (MOEL)
The Workshop was opened by Mr. Wondoo Lee, Director of MOEL, and Mr. Johan Vandromme, First Counsellor of the Trade and Economics Section of the European Delegation to the Republic of Korea (speaking on behalf of H.E Gerhard Sabathil, Ambassador of the EU to Korea).

November 14th 2016: Inception Report Published Online
On 14th November 2016, following consultations on the methodological approach with EU and Korean stakeholders, the project’s Inception Report was finalised and published online. It can be accessed via the ‘resources’ page of this website.
July 6th 2016: First Civil Society Meeting held in Brussels
Civil Society Meetings serve to inform civil society about the project objectives and provide an opportunity for stakeholders to give their feedback to enhance the relevance of the project’s research outcomes.
The first Civil Society Meeting took place in Brussels on 6 July 2016. Future meetings will be organised as required.
